The 11th annual competition awards a performance-based and an on-demand grant in each of the five geographic regions of the Commonwealth. Merit scholarships are awarded based on the quality of the essay submitted. Appropriate grants are awarded based on the quality of the essay submitted and the self-determined financial needs.
