  • The Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers will finish the week 6 Sunday dinner at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 17th
  • Seattle will begin life without Russell Wilson as the signal caller was paused for at least a couple of weeks after his finger injury last Thursday
  • Check out the odds, spreads, analysis and best prop bets below

Heinz Field will rock when the Seattle Seahawks (2-3) face the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3) on Sunday night. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Temperatures will be in the low 50s, but no wind or rain is forecast, so all in all it will be a nice night for football.

Seattle not only lost Russell Wilson to injury last week, but also lost their game against the Los Angeles Rams 26:17. Geno Smith kept them on the ball, but ultimately a 13-0 loss in the third quarter proved too much to take. Meanwhile, the Steelers defeated the Denver Broncos 27-19 in a formidable win and snatched a streak of three games.

At the moment, the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored by 5 points in this case, but that number could rise by the time of kick-off. The grand total is around 42.5 points, which is the lowest over / under in week 6. As always, there are plenty of player props to consider.

Najee could be great

So far this season has not gone so well for the Pittsburgh Steelers. At 2-3 they are sitting in the basement of AFC North one game behind the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. Even so, the season is still young and they are sitting in Najee Harris on what may be their next big running back.

Harris is a do-it-all back who shows why he was worth a first-round pick in last spring’s NFL draft. Even past the NFL’s 30th offensive line in adjusted line yards, Harris put in a 122-yard performance against the Denver Broncos last week. He has the look and feel of a back that will soon be delivering games like this on a weekly basis.

What makes Harris from a good running back to a do-it-all running back is his ability to catch the ball from the backcourt. The Steelers were more than ready to put him in that role. In fact, no other running back has been more targeted in the NFL this season than Harris.

The Steelers are 5 point favorites tonight and I would expect them to control the game as Geno Smith starts as quarterback for the Seahawks. One area of Seattle cause for concern is their run defense. Only one team in the entire NFL has given up more rushing and receiving yards for running backs this season, and that team (Philadelphia Eagles) has played one more game than the Seahawks. Expect Harris to go wild tonight.

Who scores

We need to have a touchdown scorer prop because touchdown scorer props are the fastest route to pure ecstasy offering in NFL betting today. There’s nothing like meeting a guy to score a goal and then watching this guy hit you. The feeling is even better on prime time and when we see Najee Harris tonight you will get what I mean.

Obviously I think Harris is going to have a big night so he needs a touchdown to deal with all of his receiving and rushing yards. He has no competition for touch around the goal line, so that’s it. Additionally, only four teams in the NFL have foregone more hasty touchdowns to running backs than the Seahawks.

Harris a great bet to score a goal tonight even at the increased odds.

  • Tip: Najee Harris – Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-150): Bet 0.15 units to win 0.1 units
  • 2021 Touchdown Scorer prop record: 5-10, -0.345 units
