Hoosiers open as big favorites against Jackson State on Tuesday


BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – Mike Woodson has still not lost a game as the Indiana head coach, and the chances are very good his winning streak will continue on Tuesday night when the Hoosiers face Jackson State in the second game of the Hoosier Classic.

Indiana, winner of four straight games to start the Woodson era, is according to the SISportsbook.com Gambling website. The over / under is 127.5.

Jackson State are 0-4 this season so far, including an 80-66 loss to Marshall on Sunday night in their first game at the Hoosier Classic. Indiana will play Marshall in the final game of the event on Saturday.

Indiana are 2-2 against the spread this season so far. Here are the results so far:

  • November 9th – Beat Eastern Michigan 68-62 as a 24-point favorite (lost)
  • November 12th – Beat Northern Illinois 85-49 as 25.5-point favorite (won)
  • November 17th – Beat Saint John 76-74 as 6-point favorite (lost)
  • 21st November – Beat Louisiana 76-44 as 11.5-point favorite (won)

The Tuesday night game between Indiana and Jackson State begins at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
