Hellsinger will be released sometime in 2022

Funcom announced this week that they would be released Metal: Hellsinger, but the game won’t be out until next year. The company originally planned to release the game in 2021 after it was announced the year before. But today the team casually dropped the news that it is essentially being pushed back. No specific reason for the pushback was given at this point, but we suspect that, as with many games that received the push during the pandemic, the team may need more time to work on it. Until we find out more about their plans, we just have to sit back and see what they are up to.

Part human, part demon and obsessed with vengeance. Become the unknown and fight your way through the wildest domains of hell. Destroy the demon hordes and their leaders for an epic showdown with The Red Judge himself. Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm FPS where your ability to shoot in time will enhance your gaming experience. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music becomes and the more destruction you will wreak. Defeat the hordes of demons with a skull blade or a variety of murderous weapons. Each weapon has its own ultimate ability, like Murder of Crows or The Big Goodbye.

Act out an epic story narrated by award-winning actor Troy Baker. Then hit the leaderboards or challenge your friends to beat your score in challenge mode. Although The Infernal Planes is commonly known as Hell, in reality it is a union of a thousand hells, all terrifying and diabolical in their own way. To dethrone The Red Judge, you’ll have to fight your way through the wildest corners, from the icy world of Voke to the insane world of Stygia.
