LAST TIME
A long run in the second half proved the difference as Morehead State lasted SIUE 77-74, extending a winning streak to 17 games at home. Morehead State built a 10-point lead midway through the first half, but SIUE hit back. Cam Williams scored a rebound from a Morehead State miss and heaved a half-court shot that hit after time was up to put the Cougars up one (33-32) at the break. Ray’Sean Taylor led SIUE with a career-best 26 points. Dee Juan Pruitt finished just below his career high with 16 points. Carter and Doss each scored nine points.

TELEPHONE CONFERENCE
SIUE is playing its 11th season of the Ohio Valley Conference. The Cougars are 54-120 in OVC play. head coach brian baron has a 13-29 record in OVC play.

ROAD WARRIOR
SIUE is playing its third straight road game. The Cougars played eight of their first nine games away. SIUE has three road wins this season. Last season, SIUE set a new road-win mark with six wins in a Division I-era season.

FOUR RESULTS
Taylor has won the OVC Freshman of the Week award four times this season, including last week. He is the first SIUE player to win more than three weekly OVC awards in the same season.

CLAMPS
SIUE is one of the OVC’s best defensive teams, allowing 68.6 points per game, which ranks third. The Cougars’ opponents only shoot .414s and .323s from three-point range overall. Both are second in the league.

SHARP SHOOTERS
SIUE shot 46 percent against Belmont. It was the 10th time this year that the Cougars have hit at least 45 percent of their shots in a game. SIUE hit a season-high 52 percent of his shots against Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 8.

DESTROYING THE BOARDS
The Cougars are second in OVC with 38.3 rebounds per game, which equates to 66th in the NCAA. SIUE is third in overall rebounds with 690. SIUE is second in OVC in offensive rebounds per game with 12.6, which ranks 33rd in the NCAA.
