FANS of NBC’s new music competition went crazy over K-pop star AleXa, who performed at Monday’s season premiere.

The first episode of NBC’s American Song Contest aired on Monday and fans loved the American version of the famous Eurovision Song Contest.

Pop star AleXa represented Oklahoma with a performance of her original song “Wonderland” with backing dancers and stunning choreography.

Fans of the singer took to Twitter to share their reactions to the song, with some even calling it “the best performance ever.” Other fans declare AleXa to be number one winner of the competition.

Presenter Kelly Clarkson was stunned by the performance, saying it “brought the house down”.

The competition will be played over eight weeks, before a final on May 9th.

Musicians from all 50 states, five surrounding territories and Washington, DC will compete.
